Our feasibility study “Swiss Cleantech Venture Capital Fund” aims to answer these questions by examining the need, feasibility and obstacles associated with a Swiss Cleantech Later Stage Venture Fund.
The solution approach presented aims to create a thriving Swiss cleantech culture with high export potential and an investment universe that is suitable for start-ups and investors. In an initial phase, philanthropic and/or government support is needed to further develop the Swiss cleantech ecosystem and initiate a “Cleantech Valley Switzerland”. These philanthropic start-up measures pave the way for the establishment of a commercial cleantech venture fund with a clear focus on Swiss start-ups.
