Sustainability strategy for GoSnow
ecos supported GoSnow in the development of a participatory sustainability strategy based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Also, the sustainability sections for the annual report were developed together.
Client: GoSnow – Verein Schneesportinitiative Schweiz
Project period: 08/2024-12/2024
GoSnow arranges snow sports camps and days for schools and teachers to inspire children and young people to enjoy snow sports.
In the project with ecos, initially the topics on which GoSnow has or could have a positive or negative impact were identified in the first workshop (inside-out perspective). Simultaneously, relevant external opportunities and risks for GoSnow were collected (outside-in perspective). The topics were then evaluated and summarized into five overarching sustainability topics. In a second workshop, general and specific goals as well as suitable measures and key indicators were developed for each of the five sustainability topics.
In addition, ecos supported GoSnow in identifying and formulating the sustainability information in the annual report before the sustainability strategy was developed. For this purpose, an interview was conducted to identify the relevant topics. On this basis, the relevant text sections were then formulated.
“The cooperation with ecos was very pleasant, efficient and goal-oriented. ecos understood how to incorporate our peculiarities and wishes into the workshops and tasks and also demonstrated a high degree of flexibility. The result absolutely meets our expectations and is praised by the board of the association as well as by the office.”
