The Tech Park Basel is an initiative of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. The aim is to locate and promote technology-oriented start-ups in Basel and to better connect business and universities.
ecos carried out an SDG assessment with Tech Park Basel to determine the status quo of sustainability activities and to develop possible strategic fields of action. To evaluate the sustainability activities, ecos also developed a specific evaluation tool that takes into account and integrates the results of the SDG assessment, the owner strategy, the comparison with other technology parks in Switzerland and good practices. Based on this, the current sustainability activities of Tech Park Basel were classified, evaluated and suggestions for further development were made.
