From the 2023 financial year, public companies, banks and insurance companies with 500 or more employees and total assets of at least CHF 20 million or turnover of more than CHF 40 million are obliged to publish reports on non-financial matters (environmental, social and employee matters, respect for human rights, anti-corruption). Specific CO2 reporting obligations will also apply from 2024.
