GIB DD Multilevel Reporting: Regulatory Mapping and Sustainability Labels / Standards

The two-year project aims to promote sustainable investment by helping ISEAL members to comply with sustainability regulations, ensure transparency, and combat greenwashing.

Client: Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation (GIB)
Project Period: 03/2024 – 07/2024

ecos supported GIB in a project financed by the ISEAL Innovations Fund (with SECO as the main donor). The project aims to enable SMEs to meet the requirements of sustainability regulations through efficient and simplified data collection and reporting. ecos’ role was to provide support during the first phase of the project: following in-depth research into relevant sustainability regulations (including the EU Taxonomy and the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation), we developed a methodology for mapping the regulatory indicators against GIB’s “FAST-Infra Sustainable Infrastructure” label. In parallel, several exchanges took place with project stakeholders to ensure a harmonised approach. This also included a joint presentation of the project at the ISEAL Global Sustainability Symposium in Baden (CH).
