Materiality Analysis Cargo sous terrain

Development and implementation of a systematic materiality analysis based on GRI for the overall logistics system Cargo sous terrain, as a basis for the further development of strategic sustainability and reporting in the project.

The automated overall logistics system Cargo sous terrain (CST) is a dedicated sustainable project. As a third freight infrastructure that will complement the Swiss road and rail network and relieve pressure at critical points, CST is linked to a wide range of economic, environmental, and social sustainability issues and has a broad circle of stakeholders associated with the project. ecos therefore worked with the Head of Sustainability at CST to develop a materiality analysis to identify material issues in line with GRI reporting. The analysis included both a systematic evaluation scheme and the direct involvement of internal and external stakeholders using qualitative and quantitative methods. The material topics identified lay the foundation for the further development of strategic sustainability in the project and for CST AG’s systematic sustainability reporting.
