Strengthening the Board of Directors: Strategic Partnership with Sustainable AG Deepened

Why this step?

Since 2024, ecos AG and Sustainable AG have been working together strategically. It is a partnership that quickly bore fruit: synergies were created and resources efficiently pooled. This benefits our clients above all, who profit from seamless end-to-end support from a single source. We are now deepening the collaboration at Board of Directors level as well: As of January 1, 2026, Jan-Marten Krebs and Stefan Mast have joined the Board of Directors of ecos AG. Krebs takes on the role of Chairman, while Mast joins the board as Executive Director Operations of Sustainable.

Jan-Marten Krebs puts it in concrete terms: “Joining the Board of Directors of ecos AG is not an end in itself. We are convinced that through closer strategic alignment, we can deploy our combined expertise even more effectively for Swiss companies.”

Who are the new board members?

Jan-Marten Krebs is the founder and chairman of Sustainable AG. Since 2001, he has been working on corporate sustainability: from climate protection and energy efficiency improvements to effective governance structures for sustainability in companies, through to resilience building and innovation through sustainability for future-ready businesses. He built Sustainable AG to not only advise companies, but to accompany them in taking action.

Stefan Mast, as Executive Director Operations, leads the strategic and operational development of Sustainable. He brings over 15 years of experience in business development and transformation – gained in international corporations, the private equity environment, and management consulting. His focus: positioning organizations so that strategy translates into execution.

A big thank you

Patrik Aellig and Marco Grossmann are stepping down from the Board of Directors. Both have shaped ecos over the years – with vision, perseverance, and the courage to forge new paths. Without them, ecos would not be where it is today. For that: Thank you very much!
