Global Infrastructure Basel

Global Infrastructure Basel (GIB) is a Swiss foundation based in Basel that works to accelerate the transition to sustainability and resilience in infrastructure around the world. At GIB, we believe that infrastructure – be it an energy plant, a rail network or a water utility – should not only deliver its services efficiently, but also in a way that helps address the world’s biggest sustainability challenges arising from population growth, rapid urbanization, social inequalities, overuse of finite resources and emission-intensive lifestyles.
