The KLW recipe book supports public administrations, especially municipalities, in implementing the circular economy. It is a humorously written and at the same time practice-oriented tool, a guide, a source of inspiration.

This recipe book was designed together with experts from industry and administration for municipalities and cities. It is structured like a conventional recipe book and contains recipes, ingredients and procedures for implementing the circular economy in different flavours. It covers the following topics: Procurement, furniture management, textiles, food waste, reusable containers, construction, benefit-based business models and events.

On the one hand, it addresses the variety of topics with which the circular economy can be implemented in public administrations. At the same time, the book shows that it is possible to enter the circular economy at very different stages and with varying levels of knowledge. It therefore has an empowering effect and removes barriers to entry.

Designed as a printed book, the recipe book conveys knowledge and interesting facts in a humorous way. It also helps readers to categorise their own needs and offers a variety of practical examples that demonstrate the diverse approaches of the circular economy. The recipe book format also deliberately encourages browsing, does not impose any linearity and invites readers to dip in again and again. An online link collection rounds off the whole thing.
