Sustainability at the Handelskammer Beider Basel (HKBB)

ecos was commissioned by the Basel Chamber of Commerce (HKBB) to provide in-depth information and guidance on the topic of sustainability. After analyzing the initial situation, the HKBB wanted to develop a strategic positioning and sustainability offerings for its member companies. These topics were first developed in two workshops with an internal project group and then in an extended group consisting of the internal project group and representatives of member companies. With the help of interactive methods, the needs of the HKBB and its member companies were first examined and priorities were identified in relation to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Existing initiatives and measures as well as the HKBB’s general stance on sustainability were taken into account. In the second workshop, the ideas and starting points from the first workshop were explored in greater depth and prioritized.
