Sustainability strategy for the book center
The Buchzentrum (BZ) is a leading service provider in the Swiss book trade and delivers up to 30 tons of national and international goods to offline and online bookstores, department stores and media retailers throughout Switzerland every day. ecos supported BZ in analyzing the initial situation to identify potential for improvement and opportunities as well as the systematic development of a well-founded sustainability strategy. After taking stock and researching the sustainability context, the strategic fields of action were defined in participatory workshops and, based on this, objectives, measures and key figures were defined and prioritized. A sustainability strategy summarizes the results and the FC was continuously supported in its implementation.
In addition, ecos has developed a communication concept that serves to systematically communicate the sustainability work of the BZ. Among other things, it includes defined goals, target groups, stories, suitable channels and measures, including a timetable and budget for the implementation of communication. It also proposes specific further developments of the existing FC communication channels and content ideas. ecos furthermore helped with internal emission calculations.
