Sustainability workshops with start-ups

ecos and the W.A. de Vigier Foundation organized a sustainability workshop in April 2019 and a follow-up seminar in November 2019, both aimed at improving the ability of startup founders to communicate effectively with potential investors about sustainability. For many startups today, contributing to sustainability is a must in order to receive funding, but they struggle to communicate this credibly, effectively and cost-efficiently. In spring 2021, ecos also conducted a sustainability assessment of the finalists of the W.A. de Vigier Startup Competition based on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supplemented by a further workshop on sustainability with these same finalists.
