Marco Grossmann
Partner, Member of the Executive Board

Marco acts as a point of contact between and on behalf of companies, public bodies and not-for-profit organisations. He offers all of these institutions strategic advice and also often assists with getting projects off the ground. With many years of experience of working with these kinds of stakeholders and his extensive expertise in relevant fields of sustainable development, he is in a strong position to cover a wide range of areas of interest. These include: the development and implementation of sustainable supply chains and business models within the food and non-food sectors, the support of initiatives for circular economy, the creation of business plans, finance models, feasibility studies and implementation plans for urban development and infrastructure projects (with a focus on transit oriented development and solar power), capacity building and needs assessments, and sustainability reporting in line with global reporting initiatives.

In all of these cases, he demonstrates impressive skills when it comes to managing projects and multiple stakeholders as well as applying qualitative and quantitative methodologies. In terms of location, he focuses on projects based at home in Switzerland and abroad in India, Colombia and South Africa.

Marco studied at the University of Basel, where he graduated with a Master of Science in Business and Economics. His degree was centred around economic issues and he majored in International Finance.
